Magnetic VFFOTO Graduated 0.6 ND ( 2-Stops) 1/3 soft GS filter – simple, fast, no screwing!
VFFOTO recommendation:
The VFFOTO GS range of magnetic Graduated 0.6 ND ( 2-Stops) filters is for those who want a compact and lightweight filter, the highest quality without compromise and, at the same time, fast and easy filter handling.
A graduated neutral density (GND) filter is an ND filter with a smooth transition between the weaker colored and clear parts, used mainly in landscape photography. It reduces the intensity of light of all wavelengths (without changing the colors) only in the part of the scene covered by the darkened part of the filter. It is used to compensate the contrast in landscapes with a broad dynamic range - typically to darken an overly bright sky with a darker landscape underneath. A lighter transition filter with a darkened density of 0.6 (-2 EV) is useful for scenes with lower contrast (e.g. bright skies with semi-cloudy or overcast skies) and scenes with very uneven horizons where trees, buildings or mountain peaks significantly interfere with the sky (less darkening).
Magnetic filters are fast and easy to change. Just hold the filter close to the adapter at the end of the lens and it holds firmly immediately. The solution is perfect for everyone who have a problem with perpetual screwing when changing filters.

Magnetic filters as an alternative to screw-on photo filters are quick and easy to replace. Just bring the filter close to the adapter at the end of the lens and it holds firmly immediately. You can take it off just as easily. The solution is perfect for everyone who has a problem with perpetual screwing when changing filters.
This magnetic system is not compatible with "classic" screw-on VFFOTO filters.
What makes VFFOTO magnetic filters so unique? Simplicity. Instead of two adapters in similar systems (one at the end of the lens, the other on a regular photographic filter), the VFFOTO's counterpart to the adapter is the photographic filter. Or even several, because they can be layered on top of each other and have several filters applied at the same time (for example, polarizing together with ND). With the attached magnetic filters, it is possible to use the original lens hood supplied by the lens manufacturer without any problems.
VFFOTO Graduated 0.6 ND ( 2-Stops) filters of GOLDEN SERIES are developed, designed and assembled in the Czech Republic. The components are manufactured in China.
They have 14 anti-reflective layers (7 on each side), and also new 3+3 nano layers with the most advanced features: increased scratch, water and grease resistance and easier cleaning.
The ND filters in this series are primarily designed for digital cameras, but can also be used on conventional film SLRs.
