The VFFOTO hybrid ND 2000 NANO-PRO enables long exposures even in daylight. It smooths water surfaces, captures cloud movement and helps reduce the visibility of people moving through the frame.

Use ND 2000× when a weaker ND filter cannot provide a long enough exposure. It is ideal for flowing water, moving clouds and urban scenes.

At the same aperture and ISO: 1/250 s → 8 s, 1/60 s → approximately 33 s, 1/30 s → approximately 67 s.

Calculate the exposure time for ND 2000×

Multiply the exposure time without the filter by 2000, or use the VFFOTO ND calculator. Keep the aperture and ISO unchanged.

Attach the filter and keep the camera steady

Attach the filter and set the calculated exposure time. Use a tripod with a self-timer or remote shutter release.

Use with ultra-wide-angle lenses

Wide-angle landscapes: check for vignetting.

Vignetting depends on the lens and mounting method. Screw-in mounting keeps the filter closer to the lens; when using magnetic mounting or stacking filters, check the corners of the frame.

Check the thread diameter and the clearance around the front of the lens.

Magnetic adapter

At very wide focal lengths, check for vignetting with the adapter and filter attached.

Stacking filters increases the height of the assembly and may cause vignetting.

The enlarged hybrid frame needs sufficient clearance inside the lens hood. With close-fitting hoods, check whether the hood can be used with the filter attached.

The magnetic cap with grip protects the front of the filter or magnetic assembly. Choose it according to the VFFOTO system diameter; this version requires a 95 mm cap.

Technologie VFFOTO NanoShield představuje pokročilou high-tech úpravu foto filtrů pomocí ultra tenkých nano vrstev, které výrazně omezují ulpívání vody, mastnoty i běžných nečistot. Díky speciální hydrofobní a oleofobní ochraně zůstává povrch filtru déle čistý, kapky vody snadno stékají, prach se méně zachytává a otisky prstů lze odstranit jediným setřením.

Nano vrstvy se nanášejí na optické sklo moderními metodami vakuového napařování (Physical Vapor Deposition) a iontového naprašování. Ve vakuové komoře tak vzniká dokonale rovnoměrná ochranná vrstva o tloušťce pouhých nanometrů — menší, než je samotná vlnová délka světla. VFFOTO GlareShield Core 12 je základní verze multicoatingové technologie navržená pro omezení nežádoucích odlesků a zlepšení celkové čistoty obrazu. Technologie využívá 12 antireflexních vrstev — 6 vrstev z každé strany filtru — které pomáhají snižovat odlesky a podporují vyšší kontrast i přirozenější podání barev.

Jednotlivé coatingové vrstvy jsou aplikovány na optické sklo pomocí přesných vakuových procesů, které zajišťují rovnoměrné nanesení ultra tenkých antireflexních vrstev v řádu nanometrů. Díky optimalizované propustnosti světla filtr zachovává dobrou ostrost obrazu a minimalizuje rušivé světelné odlesky při běžném fotografování.
