Do you know how to properly clean photographic filters? The dirty photographic filter is perhaps even worse than no filter at all. Dirt and dust reduce contrast and add glare and "ghosting" to pictures. A few particles of dirt on the filter will not have a noticeable effect. Drops, dust, or fingerprints are already a problem. How to clean? First blow out the dirt with the blowing balloon VFFOTO. For VFFOTO filters with nanolayers, remove any drops of water from the glass (they do not dissolve but are in the form of beads, the surface is repellent). Bloowing is most gentle cleaning method and often of itself sufficient. Continue with a soft brush. The brush that is part of the "Lenspen" VFFOTO is suitable. Wipe with a VFFOTO micro fiber cloth for the optics. Do not touch the microfibre cloth with a bare hand (it carries grease from the surface of human skin), it is ideal to wrap your hand with a polyethylene bag or thread a disposable latex glove. The microfiber cloth can be washed, the last rinse should be in distilled water (so that the cloth does not contain the mineral crystals contained in the water after drying) and dry in a dust-free area. First blow out the dirt with the blowing balloon VFFOTO. For VFFOTO filters with nanolayers, air stream from the baloon removes not only the dust and dirt, but any drops of water from the glass surface (they do not water blot but stay in the form of small balls, the surface repells them) too. Bloowing is most gentle cleaning method and often of itself sufficient.
